Grass Fed Beef Taco Salad
This is a great whole foods, high fiber, high protein meal. And it is packed with flavor! Grass fed ground beef does offer some great health benefits. The frequency of eating beef in general has been a controversial topic for quite some time. I do keep it to a minimum but when I do have it, I make sure it is grass fed and here is why.
✓ Nutritionally superior to factory farmed ground beef.
✓ Beter for the environment.
✓ Substantially more Omega 3 Fatty Acids than factory farmed.
✓ Contains conjugated linoleic acid which is a healthy fat not found in factory farmed beef. CLA has shown positive outcomes with cancer, metabolism, and even diabetes.
✓ If you are going to have ground beef, make sure it is grass-fed.
