Turkey Meatballs

It’s amazing to think back to my past life, and all of the indulgent Italian meals I ate regularly. My go to dinner was pasta, sauce, ricotta and mozzarella cheese. And a huge bowl of it! Times have certainly changed since I started living the anti-inflammatory way. I will, on occasion make my old school meatballs – the veal/pork/beef blend but with much healthier ingredients. That’s usually for holiday’s and special occasions. But these meatballs hit the mark in flavor and nutrition without all the inflammation!

These turkey meatballs are incredibly simple to make and are packed with flavor. I love using a jar of organic basil & tomato or marinara sauce and letting the meatballs finish cooking in the sauce. Make sure to read that label and find a sauce with no added sugar. These meatballs come together in 30 minutes or less with some basic ingredients and a super fast cooking method. You need cooking shortcuts for your very busy daily life. I am thrilled to share this one with you!
