Peppermint Chip Dragon Smoothie

‘Tis the Season! Only a few more days until Christmas. I feel as if holiday foods are a part of our soul. We have such a connection to food, family, and traditions. Over the years, I have been able to make healthy modifications to my family favorites without sacrificing flavor.

This week’s recipe was a challenge given from a client. She was looking for an alternative to a candy cane ice cream flavor that comes out this time of year.

So we came up with a Peppermint Chip Smoothie. I wanted it to have that pop of pink to it, so low and behold it evolved into the Peppermint Chip Dragon Smoothie.

Dragon fruit is the star of this smoothie! Dragon Fruit is absolutely delicious and nutrient dense – check out some of the benefits here:

While this may be considered a holiday themed smoothie, you really can enjoy it all year long. Or opt out of the peppermint and just make it a Dragon Fruit Smoothie. I am a tad bit obsessed with Dragon Fruit at the moment – tastes like the biggest cheat yet it’s super nutrient dense!
