Back in the day, when I first started having protein smoothies, my go to was a plain vanilla and medjool date concoction. Since adding many other fruits to my smoothie repertoire, I lost touch with it. It’s crazy how indulgent these smoothies can feel yet they are packed full of nutrition!

Adding the chia and flax seeds also helps to increase fiber and protein – keeping you full for hours. They also help to give the smoothie a milkshake type of texture – making it thick and decadent.
