Italian cooking is my heritage! I have drastically modified how I eat “Italian” over the years. This is a much cleaner approach but with all the pop of flavor you could ask for. And you can have on the kitchen table within 30 minutes. Winning!

As much as I loved my ricotta and mozzarella in the past, I have found ways to modify with other flavorful ingredients. Unfortunately, the cheese doesn’t love me back. Plus the dairy has inflammatory effects for many. The star of this recipe would be the sundried tomatoes and Italian chicken sausage. The Bilinski’s brand sausage has red peppers in there too! And you can’t forget the generous amount of garlic and onion – oh yes!

This meal is nice on the eyes ya know – lots of color. Which means polyphenols – packed with antioxidants. The fiber from the broccoli and protein from the sausage will help keep you full for hours.
