My lovely Summer get-away trip to Cape May, NJ inspired these yummy & fun protein bites. We went to an adorable coffee shop, and they had an insanely delicious peanut butter banana protein ball. I ate mine on the ferry ride heading back to Fenwick Island. It was so good, I had to get the ingredients, so my buddy was able to do some detective work and find out the main ingredients used. I did alter slightly but very happy with the results!
As most recipes go, they do not usually turn out “website worthy” on the 1st try! And these were no exception. My first try was well, not quite a match to what I experienced in Cape May. But I am always up for the challenge and wasn’t giving up quite yet.
After my 2nd attempt, I introduce you to my Peanut Butter Banana Protein Bites. The banana chips in this recipe add a great crunch to these tasty little bites. The biggest modification was adding in the protein powder. And here is the thing, Truvani is running their 50% off sale on their vanilla and chocolate flavors!!!

I love these as a great grab and go protein filled snack. Sticking with 2 as an individual portion is your best bet & my recommendation! You can also double the recipe if you want to food prep and just have more on hand.
You can pop these in the freezer and allow to thaw out for 5 minutes before eating. They can also be used as a healthy dessert alternative and can be put out as a great snack item for your next event. They travel well in a small cooler too! I took them as my breakfast when volunteering at the West Chester Grower’s Market this weekend!
