How I have never attempted a pumpkin flavored smoothie is beyond me. I used to be that pumpkin spice creamer girl for my coffee back in the day. Since I found out how inflammatory the ingredients were, that came to an end. Although, there are ways to work around that. My motto – if there is a will, there is a way to make it! I’ll save that for another time….
I do love pumpkin and like to enjoy it during the Fall season. Have to confess, pumpkin is a funny thing though – can easily be overdone. As in when we eat it too much, we kind of get sick of it. Come September, there is pumpkin “everything”. I aim to pace myself with the pumpkin flavored goodies so I can enjoy them throughout the season. My all-time favorite Fall recipe is Pumpkin Cheesecake. This was a Thanksgiving dessert staple at our family get togethers. But it was such a heavy dessert to have after a huge meal!
When creating this recipe, my intention was not for a pumpkin cheesecake flavor but that’s definitely the first name that popped into my mind when tasting it. So here you go, my latest recipe – Pumpkin Cheesecake Smoothie.
