The Power of Believing is pretty powerful stuff! And what better time of year to talk about the power of Believing then now during the holiday season. When one truly believes in themselves – they are unstoppable – just like the above quote. No matter what goal you are looking to achieve – whether it’s to save up for a new home, pay off some debt, start a new business, lose weight, declutter your space, etc. – if you put your mind to it and believe in yourself – you can make that goal happen.
With launching Christi Health Coach this year – this has been my mantra. I have been running on adrenaline since I started my health coaching classes. The life experiences I have had from my teen years through my mid-forties has landed me in this very spot today. The yo-yo dieting, embracing my illness, determining my high energy foods (and inflammatory ones too), caring for my parents during their cancer illnesses and working in sales/marketing. All of these life experiences have paved the way for where I am right now. I have the honor of helping people achieve some amazing goals.
When you believe in yourself, you learn to dig deep unveiling “Why” you want to achieve said goal and you chase it like your life depends on it. Now let’s be clear – I have definitely been making mistakes along the way – actually during the course of my entire life. BUT… I am learning such valuable take-aways from every single mistake and how to get better. Isn’t that what life is all about? We can’t let the mistakes, the struggles, the hard times get in our way. This is how I decided to take on my diagnosis of multiple sclerosis 18 years ago. And no, it has not been easy – although I have been more fortunate than most with this disease. I get 3 blatant reminders a week when having to do my injections – but it’s part of my life – like brushing my teeth. I thank God every day for all the blessings in my life and for just feeling great. Being diagnosed with a chronic disease makes you see what really matters much more clearly and opens up the ability to truly appreciate that.
The holiday season gets a little chaotic with all the hustle and bustle, never ending to-do lists on top of all the other daily life antics. Believe in yourself to still achieve those goals you have been wanting to achieve. Maybe it’s one of the goals I listed above – maybe it’s something totally unrelated – but if it’s important to you – stay true to yourself and start believing in yourself. The holidays will come and go, and your goals will still be there waiting for you. Imagine all the possibilities when you make them happen!
You are worth it!
